Joshua M. Johnson grew up in Olympia, Washington and graduated from The Evergreen State College with a BA in film. Shortly after to moving to Los Angeles, he began working for the Emmy Award winning show The Amazing Race. Since then he has produced and directed for reality television for over 10 years on such shows as Diamond Divers, Whale Wars and the documentary series Inside: Secret America (NatGeo). Most recently he has been creating and developing his own reality series. Josh and his partner have collaborated on over a dozens feature screenplays and have produced several short films together. Buzzard Hollow Beef is his feature directorial debut.



Tara Carre Hall is the female half of A Man & A Woman Productions, founded to produce independent features, shorts, documentaries, and sketch comedy. The company started with Tara’s controversial short film Envy, which won “Best Comedy” at the First Glance Film Festival in 2012. The company went on to release their first feature, Buzzard Hollow Beef, which Tara wrote and produced. The film has screened all over the world, won awards for acting, directing, SFX, and even Best Horror Film and now is currently streaming on Amazon. Tara is an art school dropout with a BA in film from the Evergreen State College. She also studied sketch and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and screenwriting at Writer’s Boot Camp. In the last two years, her screenplays have won awards many times over including, but not limited to the FEEDBACK Female Film Festival, the Women in Horror Film Festival, WeScreenplay, Breaking Walls Thriller Competition, GenreBlast, and the Oaxaca Film Festival.
